Elijah Moore’s New York Jets future is up in the air

The vibes around the 4-2 New York Jets were nearly flawless – until Elijah Moore decided to pull the spotlight upon himself.

Following the Jets’ 27-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers, Moore took to Twitter with a post in which he complained about his lack of targets. Later in the week, it was reported that Moore has requested a trade due to frustrations with his role in the offense. Head coach Robert Saleh then announced that Moore will not play in this week’s game against the Denver Broncos.

Moore is averaging 4.8 targets per game this season, with 29 in six games. Against Green Bay, Moore finished the game with zero targets (although one target was negated due to a penalty).

How do the Jets handle Moore going forward? Do they try to mend things, keeping him on the bench until he cools off and is ready to rejoin the team? Or, do they trade him?

On the latest episode of the Cool Your Jets podcast, Robby Sabo joins the show to discuss the Moore situation and how the Jets should handle it.

Plus, we preview the Jets’ upcoming game against a reeling Broncos team. Russell Wilson and the 2-4 Broncos are struggling mightily to put up points, but Denver’s defense is elite. How can the Jets ensure the Denver offense does not have its breakout game? What is the ideal gameplan for Mike LaFleur to achieve success against the Broncos’ elite defense?

All of this and more is discussed on the newest CYJ.
