Have you heard the news? The New York Jets need wide receiver help.

If not, welcome outside from under a rock.

The Jets had an eventful free agency period, adding 11 new players, but the additions mostly focused on defense. Not one of those pickups was dedicated to a unit that was widely considered the Jets’ No. 1 non-quarterback need: wide receiver.

With less than a month until draft, New York is left with the following wide receiver depth chart: Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, Isaiah Williams, Jamaal Pritchett, Arian Smith, Irvin Charles, Quentin Skinner, and Mac Dalena.

That won’t cut it. The Jets are one Garrett Wilson injury away from a unit that cannot compete to win NFL games. Even if Wilson is healthy, his impact will be reduced as defenses commit to stopping him, and the Jets won’t have anyone to make him pay.

Luckily, the Jets have four top-45 draft picks to address the issue.

They probably won’t target a wide receiver with the second overall pick, but the Jets are expected to take a wide receiver with one of their next three picks: Nos. 16, 33, and 45.

Could Texas A&M’s KC Concepcion be the pick?

On the latest episode of Blewett’s Blitz, we break down the All-22 film of Concepcion’s 2025 games against Auburn, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, and Miami. We will analyze his strengths and weaknesses, his potential fit with the Jets, where he stacks up among the 2026 receiver class, and whether it makes more sense for the Jets to target him at No. 16 or No. 33.

Below is the full KC Concepcion scouting report (strengths and weaknesses) and film review.
