SHOW
Despite the many controversies surrounding him, Gastineau’s production on the field cannot be argued. In 1984, while leading the famed New York Sack Exchange, Gastineau put up 22 sacks—which stood as the single-season NFL record until Michael Strahan tapped a falling Brett Favre in 2001.
All told, Gastineau’s 107.5 sacks (unofficial number) is the most in franchise history.
