Ryan, 29, has been long-rumored as an option for Joe Douglas and the New York Jets. Plugging the veteran into Gregg Williams’s defense alongside several young cornerbacks is absolutely something of great intrigue.
Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News recently reported the idea that the Jets “believe” they will eventually sign the two-time Super Bowl champ.
Ryan just played out the final year of a three-year, $30 million deal signed with the Tennessee Titans prior to the 2017 season. His pick-6 of Tom Brady last January placed an emphatic stamp on one of the greatest eras in NFL history.
The question of the moment is, “What does Ryan have planned for Thursday?”
Technically, he didn’t announce that he’ll be making an announcement while on the program. Does the show run regularly-scheduled spots for current players? Have they done so during the pandemic?
Technically, Logan Ryan said nothing about making an "announcement." Does GMFB do regulary-scheduled segments that would make sense here?
If it is an announcement of some sort, I'd bet on a retirement and new media career (hired by NFL Network). But who the hell knows. #Jets https://t.co/okEcucv6sw

For Ryan to hop on the show and announce his next destination is a bit LeBron James-like without the legendary-talent—as much as everybody respects Ryan. The best bet may be on a surprise retirement with a new career in the media by way of an NFL Network job offer (and subsequent announcement).
GMFB host Peter Schrager replied in an eye-popping way:

Jets fans are holding out for a New York Jets-centric announcement. Logan Ryan fills a position of need while offering perfection in the other (usually unseen) areas of team building. Meaning, his presence reaches far beyond the field for a football squad.
