Gregg Williams gets the back of Jamal Adams on a Thursday morning conference call, while we also ask the question, “Did he cross the line?”

Did Jamal Adams cross the line? It’s the question that’s most important during these crazy times.

Courtesy of Adams’s social media and viral video bender over the last week and change, “it’s only business’ has been uttered by many onlookers. Considering his mention of the Dallas Cowboys organization and saying his goodbyes to Marcus Maye, and responding to random New York Jets fans on social media, it’s tough to believe it is “only business” at this point.

One man who agrees is Jets all-time great Nick Mangold, who hopped on the Zach Gelb Show to discuss the matter. And knowing Mangold, it makes sense that he didn’t shy away from the topic.

Elsewhere, defensive coordinator Gregg Williams told the Jets world that he has his best player’s back through the process and believes his versatility is crucial for the team’s defense. He also mentioned the Pro Football Hall of Fame when talking about his strong safety.

Finally, the Adam Gase report concerning Adams’s unhappiness is one of the more eye-popping bits of news circling the Jets’ universe. The first Jets player to jump into the mix was spotted on Thursday when guard Alex Lewis refuted Manish Mehta’s report suggesting the majority of the locker room isn’t a fan of the head coach.

All of that and more New York Jets related is discussed on Sabo Radio 48.
