Sam Darnold‘s 2019 season was not the ascent to stardom that many fans hoped to see, but the young franchise quarterback was forced to deal with a plethora of difficult obstacles that hamstrung his ability to produce at a high level. In spite of the poor support, Darnold overcame a rough start to the season and forged a promising finish that reminded the world just how high his ceiling is.
