New York Jets rookie left tackle Mekhi Becton showed up to work in a Michael Myers mask, making for one gigantic Halloween villain.
Just imagine, for one moment, Michael Myers terrorizing you in a quiet suburb on Halloween night. While his quickness, speed and size don’t terrify at face value, the look and intent to snatch lives just may do the trick (scaring the hell out of you).
Now, imagine this: Michael Myers growing substantially. Imagine a 6-foot-7, 360-plus-pound version of Myers as he rips that quiet suburb up and down.
There’s nothing more frightening.
New York Jets left guard Alex Lewis has somewhat experienced the frightening scenario—save for the suburb backdrop. Stud rookie Mekhi Becton showed up to work in style, as the biggest Michael Myers in Halloween history.
Lewis captured the footage and tossed it up on his official Instagram account story:
The only thing more frightening than Michael Myers is a 6-foot-7, 360-plus-pound Michael Myers, something Mekhi Becton pulls off in style. (Instagram: alexlewis72) #TakeFlight

Becton, 21, can choose any costume he’d like. Joe Douglas’s first draft pick as the Jets front office football boss already might be the team’s best player.
Becton’s presence transforms a bad offensive line into a middle-of-the-pack unit that often rushes the ball tremendously on first down. It’s obvious as to why when the kid’s film is broken down:
Becton and the Jets are set to take on the mighty 6-1 Kansas City Chiefs from Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday.
Now that I think about it, it’s time to scratch the previous line, “There’s nothing more frightening,” from your memory; a Jets-Chiefs matchup in Week 8 that’s produced a 20-point spread clearly edges out a 6-foot-7 Becton in the scary department.
Mekhi Becton will have his hands full this weekend with edge Frank Clark. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET from Kansas City.
Meanwhile, the classic film Halloween will be seen in many households over the weekend with a normal-sized Michael Myers terrorizing your fellow human (actor).
