As he makes his way toward the pros, BYU quarterback and New York Jets target Zach Wilson is getting his feet wet in the endorsement arena.
Just nine days away from hearing his name called at the 2021 NFL draft and becoming the new face of a franchise (potentially the New York Jets, especially if Steve Young is to be believed), BYU product Zach Wilson is starting to dip his toes in the endorsement game.
As confirmed through Nike Football’s Twitter account, Wilson is now part of the Nike family. He’ll continue rocking the swoosh after donning it throughout his tenure in Provo, where the BYU football team was also sponsored by the company.

That’s not all for the Utah native. After posting a sponsored tweet for the burrito chain on Friday, Wilson announced on Tuesday afternoon that he had been given the honor of having a bowl named after him at Chipotle, which can be found on the restaurant’s app.

The future franchise quarterback’s go-to: white rice, black beans, chicken, tomatillo green-chili salsa, and guacamole. Unlike Wilson’s game on the field, it’s nothing flashy or eye-popping.
Perhaps the rather traditional blend is indicative of Wilson’s humble mentality off the field. He’s not looking for attention; he just wants to get the job done.

If he does indeed land with the Jets, the 22-year-old will never be too far from a spot to grab a Zach Wilson bowl. There are two Chipotle locations within six miles of the Jets’ facility in Florham Park. In addition, there are 55 Chiptole locations in New York City, 17 more than any other city in the country.
Should Wilson land in New York and succeed under the bright lights of the nation’s largest media market, we will surely be seeing more from him on the endorsement front.
