Where does the NY Jets’ offensive line rank league-wide following the addition of right tackle Morgan Moses?
The signing of highly-regarded former Washington Football Team right tackle Morgan Moses signals just another step in New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas‘ offensive line overhaul.
Assuming that Moses takes George Fant‘s spot at right tackle, Douglas’ projected starting lineup now features two of his own first-round picks (Mekhi Becton and Alijah Vera-Tucker), two free-agent acquisitions who came to the Jets after ranking among the top 10 best players at their position the prior season (Connor McGovern, Moses), and a decent stopgap (Greg Van Roten).
How does this starting five compare to the other 31 units in the league?
To answer that question, I compiled data for the projected starters on all 32 teams in the league, painting a picture of exactly where the Jets’ offensive line stands in the NFL landscape.
The quality of your work continues to blow me away. I dont know how long it will be until you get poached by some big company, but until then I’ll enjoy your jets-based stuff.
As a jets fan, I think I speak for all of us when I say how great your work is — its more fun to read your site than to watch the games!
A lot of the teams we play this season aren’t scoring well here. I think John Benton gets the most out of our guys too so very excited. Love your work Michael. All Gas Brother!
Shocked at the Dolphins Offensive Line. Really like the Matchup with our defensive line. Can’t wait
Love the analysis. A lot of ifs – as with our whole team – but the OL will be better.
Thanks! I think there’s no doubt this unit will be better. Just comes down to how much better. So many major variables on the unit. Could still sit in the 20s, land around average, or even be top-10.
