‘Jets highlights kid’ returns to skewer team’s performance in Denver (Video)

The ‘Jets highlights kid’ via TikTok returns to ‘analyze’ the team’s rotten performance against the Denver Broncos.

Most associated with the New York Jets were off their A-game on Sunday afternoon. TikTok user @td.sports was a welcomed exception.

The young Jets fan returned to the app shortly after Gang Green was on the wrong end of a 26-0 shutout decision on Sunday in Denver.

Having previously gone viral for his analysis of a failed play in the Jets home opener against New England, his skewering of the Jets’ visit to Mile High is even more scathing.

Braxton Berrios, for example, gains the nickname of “white Diontae Johnson” as an eventual Zach Wilson interception goes through his hands and lands into the arms of the waiting Justin Simmons.

Another drop leads to Corey Davis gaining the nickname “Walmart D.K. Metcalf,” stemming from a rare Jets offensive drive that gained traction in the second quarter.

The offensive line is also not exempt from his roasting, as he notes that three Broncos get to Wilson on a five-man rush despite the Jets blocking six.

The user ends his video by noting that things have gotten so bad for the Jets that has temporarily exchanged green for blue—namely the shades of the Los Angeles Rams.

Armed with the services of new quarterback Matthew Stafford, it’s easy to see why the Rams would appeal to a Jets fan looking to convert—not only is Los Angeles one of the five remaining unbeaten teams left in the NFL, but also because they got the best of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.

While @td.sports’ humorous shorts have gained internet fame, his account is no longer listed on TikTok. Time will tell if he’ll return for the Jets’ Week 4 contest against the Tennessee Titans next Sunday afternoon (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
