The New York Jets do not seem interested in dealing Denzel Mims
The NFL trade deadline is at 4 p.m. on this afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 2, meaning that the rumor mill is fully operational.
According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, the New York Jets are hearing trade offers for second-year wide receiver Denzel Mims, but they have consistently turned them down.

This is not the first time that we have heard rumors of the Jets receiving interest for Mims. Following the Jets’ Week 2 loss to the Patriots in which Mims was a healthy scratch, Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network reported that teams called about him. Just as it seems they are today, the Jets were disinterested in dealing the Baylor product.
Mims is making his way back into the mix. He has been active in four consecutive games, setting a season-high with a 31% snap ratio in Week 7 and beating it again with a mark of 70% in the Jets’ Week 8 victory over Cincinnati.
Taking advantage of Corey Davis’ absence (hip), Mims played 59 snaps against the Bengals to lead all Jets wide receivers. He caught two of three targets for 30 yards and a pair of first downs, although he failed to pull in a potential touchdown pass in the back of the end zone from Josh Johnson.
Mims also showed outstanding hustle and speed when he teamed up with Elijah Moore to sprint down the field and prevent a potential pick-six.

Davis’ status for the Jets’ Thursday night clash with the Colts remains up in the air, so Mims could be poised for another outing in a featured role while New York waits for its top wideout to return.
