One bettor is dangerously confident in the New York Jets
According to oddsmakers at Caesars Sportsbook, the New York Jets are among the National Football League’s biggest longshots to win Super Bowl LVII.
The Jets open up with +20000 odds at Caesars Sportsbook to win the 2023 Super Bowl in Arizona. They are tied for the worst odds in the NFL with the Houston Texans and the Detroit Lions.
New York’s division-rival Buffalo Bills opened with the second-best odds at +700 behind only the Kansas City Chiefs at +650. The New England Patriots are +2200, while the Miami Dolphins are +4000 to win it all next season.
The hometown rival New York Giants have slightly better odds than the Jets to win Super Bowl LVII at +12500. That is good for the fifth-worst odds in the NFL.
One bettor feels extra confident in Robert Saleh and the Jets, as the first reported wager for Super Bowl LVII at Caesars Sportsbook was on Gang Green. The bet was placed in New York for $5,000, and at +20000 odds, the payout would be for $1,000,000.

It is definitely worth noting that at Fanduel Sportsbook, the New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals had the same preseason odds to win Super Bowl LVI at +12000. That tied them for the third-worst odds. Now, Cincinnati is off to play the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
If the Jets can string together a good draft and free agency period while Zach Wilson takes a sizable second-year leap, maybe the Jets can surprise some people next year. A Super Bowl appearance seems unlikely (hence the longshot odds), but a playoff appearance for the first time since 2011 would go a long way for the Jets’ future fortunes.
