New York will play eight home games and nine road games this year. Following the switch to the 17-game format in 2021 (which added an extra interconference game to each team’s schedule), the AFC and NFC will alternate each year between which conference’s teams get to host nine games.
AFC teams played nine home games last year. The Jets hosted Philadelphia in their extra NFC game. This year, the NFC will get to host these games. The Jets will visit Seattle in their extra NFC game, leaving them with eight home games.
