Uzomah goes with the theme of the last couple of weeks by sporting a meme on his shirt
The New York Jets players have embraced Zach Wilson‘s “dawg” persona for all it’s worth.
Free agent signee tight end C.J. Uzomah has decided to keep it up as training camp gets underway.

Uzomah is featured on Twitter with a close-up shot of Zach Wilson as Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year.” The video pans out to show that it’s on Uzomah’s t-shirt as he reports for training camp.
The Wilson meme has circulated on social media during the relationship drama that dogged him over the last few weeks.
Wilson’s popularity spiked following his ex-girlfriend’s accusations, leading to a jump in MVP bets his way and many other memes.
His Jets teammates previously joined in on the fun, including Mekhi Becton’s tweet of Terrell Owens’s ‘That’s my quarterback’ meme. Sauce Gardner and Elijah Moore also got in on the action with their responses to Becton and Chad Ochocinco, respectively.
Wilson has taken the drama in stride. After working out with his offensive teammates at an Idaho ranch, he slyly posted on Instagram, “Poor cell service… what I miss?”
Uzomah could not resist one last moment of levity as the preseason workouts begin. Now, it’s back to business, as the Jets veterans reported for training camp today.
The Jets will take whatever motivation they can to return to winning football. If Zach Wilson can get this team back on track, he will be Jets fans’ Person of the Decade.
