Best prop bets for New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills
The New York Jets are looking to sweep the Buffalo Bills for the first time since 2011. Winning this week would be huge for the Jets’ playoff chances as they seek to stay ahead of the Chargers and Patriots in the AFC wild card race. The Bills have won their last three games and are looking to hold onto the top seed in the conference.
Let’s take a look at our best prop bets for the Jets vs. Bills.
All odds via Caesars Sportsbook
Garrett Wilson receiving yards: over 62.5
Garrett Wilson has been lighting up the stat sheet over the last few weeks. In his last five games, he is averaging 6 catches and 95.2 yards per game. More specifically, in his two games with Mike White as starting quarterback, Wilson is averaging 6.5 receptions and 128.5 yards per game.
Wilson’s yards-after-catch ability makes him a nightmare for opposing defenses as he can take any catch the length of the field. According to PFF, Wilson leads all wide receivers with 43.4 yards after catch per game since Week 8.
In terms of yards allowed, the Bills’ passing defense is considered middle of the pack. They give up 218 passing yards per game which ranks 17th in the NFL. The loss of Von Miller is massive for Buffalo and will give White more chances to find Wilson down the field.
I think Garrett Wilson will have another productive game Sunday in what is probably the biggest game of the season for the Jets so far.
Zonovan Knight anytime touchdown scorer (+235)
Zonovan Knight has been a pleasant surprise in his limited amount of game action. In two games, Knight has 29 carries for 159 yards and is rushing at 5.5 yards per attempt. With Breece Hall out, Knight brings back a home-run-hitting ability that meshes well with Michael Carter.
Buffalo has one of the better rushing defenses in the NFL, but the Jets did run the ball well in their first matchup in Week 9. The Jets had 174 yards on the ground including eight straight running plays for 73 yards on their last drive in the fourth quarter to win the game.
Also, it seems like the coaches love Knight. Even with Carter coming back this week, I expect Knight to get a good percentage of the carries giving him ample opportunities to get into the end zone.
I like Zonovan Knight to score this week and continue his strong play for the Jets.
