Best prop bets for New York Jets vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The New York Jets will try to get back to their winning ways when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium. New York has lost four of its last five games and has quickly fallen out of the playoff picture. The Jaguars have won three of four and are now closing in on the Titans for first place in AFC South.

Let’s take a look at Jets X-Factor’s best prop bets for Thursday Night Football.

Garrett Wilson receiving yards: Over 57.5

Garrett Wilson finds himself in every prop bet article. We cannot stop now as he has hit the over on his receiving prop in six of his last seven games. Most weeks, Wilson hits it by a wide margin.

Wilson is tied for the 11th-most receiving yards in the league among wide receivers and is up there with the likes of CeeDee Lamb and A.J. Brown. With more consistent quarterback play throughout the regular season, he could certainly be in the top 8 of NFL receivers.

I really like this matchup for Garrett Wilson this week. Jacksonville’s defense is allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game (252.6). According to Football Outsiders, Jacksonville also ranks last in passing defense DVOA. They have had trouble stopping the pass all season and Garrett Wilson should be in for another favorable matchup this week.

Although poor weather is expected and Zach Wilson will be starting again this week, I still like Garrett Wilson to go over his projected receiving yards.

Zach Wilson anytime touchdown scorer (+650)

With Zach Wilson starting again on Thursday night, I like him to find the end zone with his legs. I would love to see Wilson get more chances to use his athleticism down by the goal line, especially for a team that has struggled in the red zone in recent weeks.

He definitely is not Josh Allen but Wilson is athletic enough to make a guy miss and gain a few extra yards. Jacksonville has given up a lot of yards to quarterbacks on the ground this season. In Week 12, Lamar Jackson ran for 89 yards against the Jaguars while in Week 7, Daniel Jones ran for 107 yards. Overall, the Jaguars have allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game to quarterbacks.

In 2021, Zach Wilson rushed for 91 yards against the Jaguars at MetLife Stadium.

I think Zach Wilson has a chance to impact this game on the ground as he gets one into the end zone.
