Sauce gives us deets of his adventures

Checking New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner‘s Twitter account is a daily exercise in amusement.

The renamed “D’ROY” (Defensive Rookie of the Year, for the uninitiated) dishes on everything from God and faith to his ‘City of Sauce’ Twitch server.

At 1:54 a.m. ET, we received the most recent and scintillating update from the man who once paid $50,000 to claim the No. 1 on his jersey.

Sauce informed us all that he chose to join us peons in economy class as opposed to his accustomed first class. In doing so, he decided to record anything weird that he’d see, just for the fun of it.

As usual, there was someone only too happy to oblige.

Now, Sauce, we have to admit, it’s far weirder for the guy to be doing it than for you to record him in the act. That’s par for the course nowadays: see something strange, capture it for posterity.

It’s also a warning for the rest of us to be careful what we put on our phone screens. Thisย could be an issue of identity theft.

Hopefully, it was just a busybody with nothing better to do.

Either way, we’re looking forward to an offseason of entertainment from Sauce on Twitter. We’ve already heard about his rookie dinner, Madden adventures, Pro Bowl Games prank victimhood, and possible knowledge about the Jets’ pursuit of Aaron Rodgers.

What does Sauce have up his very long sleeve next?
