Aaron Rodgers builds chemistry with his New York Jets teammates in a unique way

It’s been exactly three weeks since Aaron Rodgers officially became a member of the New York Jets, and we continue to see more and more evidence of Rodgers being fully bought-in to his new team.

Rodgers began practicing with his teammates the very next day following his introductory press conference. After that, he took in New York Rangers and New York Knicks playoff games alongside his teammates. And now, Rodgers and the Jets are calling upon an interesting new method to build chemistry: carrying logs.

Jets owner Woody Johnson shared photos of Rodgers and various other Jets players toting logs around on the practice field in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Back in January, when the idea of the Jets pursuing Rodgers first started to float around, one of the main concerns was whether the Jets would be getting a motivated Rodgers. That question has been wholly answered.

It started in March when Rodgers explained his situation on The Pat McAfee Show. Rodgers came off as a player who had a massive chip on his shoulder and wanted badly to make another run at a championship. He seemed particularly motivated by the perceived slights he had received from the Packers organization.

Now that Rodgers is officially a Jet, it’s clear that he is embracing his new situation and wants to do everything he can to maximize his chances of winning. In past years, Rodgers typically wouldn’t even show up to the team facility at this time of year. Now, the Jets have him carrying logs around for a team-building exercise.
