Isaac Wilson is a four-star recruit from Corner Canyon High School
Zach Wilson‘s younger brother Isaac announced his college commitment on Wednesday.
Despite offers from his brother’s alma mater of BYU (as well as Arizona, Arizona State, Miami, and Oregon), Isaac decided to commit to Utah, following his father’s footsteps. Being close to home was likely a deciding factor in his decision – and it isn’t surprising to see the younger Wilson want to carve out his own collegiate path.
I’m committing to Utah!!! Thanks to everyone that has helped me through this process. #goutes pic.twitter.com/jvE0sYYkQA

“But now I’m excited to do my thing, go back to our roots and go back to where my dad played,” said Isaac to 247 Sports. “I couldn’t be more excited to be committed to Utah.”
Isaac Wilson is a four-star QB recruit out of Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah. The younger Wilson didn’t follow his brothers, all three of whom went to BYU.
Wilson will go into college as a higher-ranked prospect than his brother Zach. Yet when you look at some of his highlights, you can’t help but see shades of Zach in his game. The younger Wilson throws an accurate fastball, with a great ability to throw off-platform to boot.
Utah is getting a STRAIGHT BALLER in Corner Canyon's 4-star QB @Isaac_kawika.

He also has an absolute cannon of an arm.
My son Carson (that tiny dot 70 yards away) got to catch a long bomb from Isaac Wilson and got some great coaching tips on running routes. Feeling blessed for the high level resources available for my soon-to-be CCHS freshman. Isaac is a good dude and I wish him luck this week. pic.twitter.com/k9oiGp5vhm

The Utah Utes will get a talented player in Isaac Wilson.
In 14 games for Corner Canyon last season, Wilson threw for 3,774 yards with 40 touchdowns. He also had 695 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Wilson led his team to an 11-3 record and a berth in the 6A state title game.
Wilson is currently ranked as the 14th-best quarterback of his class. Time will tell if he will merit the draft capital his brother Zach received when the elder was taken by the New York Jets second overall in 2021.
