A recent photograph from a training session depicts New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers with a ripped physique.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers may be on the cusp of 40, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at him. The 39-year-old signal-caller has been quite active this offseason. That effort has continued even with the Jets’ mandatory minicamp canceled.
Proactive Sports Performance, a training institute in Los Angeles, posted a photo of Rodgers in the midst of a training session on Instagram.
Not only does the future Hall of Famer look ready for the start of the NFL season, but he looks ripped leading up to the Jets’ training camp return.
The photo comes a day after Rodgers was seen in another photo at PSP. The Jets’ quarterback posted a story on Instagram featuring multiple athletes at the facility, tagging his former teammate David Bakhtiari asking why the Packers’ OT wasn’t at the facility with him. While the back and forth that pursued was entertaining, it showed something more important: Rodgers’ level of commitment this offseason.
A lot has been made about Rodgers’ level of commitment in the offseason during his time with the Packers. Yet in his short time with the Jets, his work ethic and involvement are two things that can’t be questioned.
Rodgers will look to bounce back from a season that saw him lead the Packers to an 8-9 record while missing the playoffs and setting career-low numbers. He seeks to lead the Jets to their first playoff berth since the 2010 season under Rex Ryan.
