Multiple New York Jets players stopped by Atlantic Health System’s Goryeb Children’s Hospital for a visit on Halloween
The New York Jets continue to make a difference in the community.
On Halloween, Jets players stopped by Atlantic Health System’s Goryeb Children’s Hospital for a visit. According to the press release, “Tim Boyle, Jermaine Johnson, DJ Reed, Malik Taylor, and Justin Hardee met with children to wish them a Happy Halloween and give them a head start on trick-or-treating with treats from Ferrero North America.”
On the visit, the players posed for pictures and signed autographs for the kids. They also, in the spirit of Halloween, gave out candy to the kids. The release said that “each child left with a bag of treats compliments of Ferrero North America.”
The Jets, along with their on-the-field achievements this season, are constantly involved in their community. Whether it is constant visits to the Goryeb Children’s Hospital and other Atlantic Health Hospitals, providing support for athletes’ mental health, or recognizing the achievements of local teams, the organization has done its part to help those in the area.
Helping the community and those in need is essential. They are the ones who fill the stands and support the team through the good and bad times.
In the case of the children at Goryeb, they are fighting battles more challenging than anyone could imagine. Their strength is inspirational and should be recognized as much as possible.
It is a great sign, as a result, to see the Jets continue to support and make lifelong memories for these kids in need.
