After some uncertainty about their status during the week, two key Jets offensive linemen are set to be active Monday night.
The New York Jets are getting a little bit healthier along their offensive line.
After uncertainty that they would play on Monday night, offensive linemen Joe Tippmann and Laken Tomlinson have both been removed from the Jets’ injury report.

Tippmann has been dealing with a quad injury over the past few weeks after he suffered the injury against the Philadelphia Eagles. Tomlinson, who has not missed a game in his Jets tenure, was limited with a hamstring injury this week.
The Jets are not back to full strength yet in any regard. Duane Brown is still working his way back from his hip injury while both Connor McGovern and Wes Schweitzer were recently placed on injured reserve. Outside of the offensive line, Allen Lazard is now dealing with a knee injury and is questionable for the game.
The importance of having both Tomlinson and Tippmann on the offensive line for Monday night cannot be understated. After a shaky 2022 season, Tomlinson has been a solid piece for the Jets. While not being an upper-tier player, he has formed a solid left-side combination with Mekhi Becton.
The more important piece, though, is Tippmann. Playing at guard this season, the rookie out of Wisconsin has been the Jets’ best run blocker outside of Alijah-Vera Tucker. He has also held up in pass-blocking and has not been a liability in that regard.
The Jets have dealt with a plethora of injuries this season across their entire roster, with the offensive line being the position group impacted the most. With Tomlinson not missing action and Tippmann returning to the field, the Jets’ offensive line is in a much better spot than where it was only a few days ago.
