ESPN Bet NFL Week 16
It’s Week 16 of the NFL season, and the holidays are in full swing. It also means bettors have more opportunities to test their wagering skills by using the ESPN Bet Promo Code on an “anything” bet.
Better yet, ESPN Bet Sportsbook’s “Special Props” section is quickly becoming one of the more popular categories in the online sportsbook market.
What better way to do that than to target the AFC North showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Eve? Both teams will be without their starting quarterbacks, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t opportunities to be had.
Of course, the local New York Jets won’t have Aaron Rodgers this weekend, but the show must go on, with the Washington Commanders visiting Northern New Jersey.
No matter your bet(s) this weekend, the NFL Week 16 slate is as full as it could be:
- Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints (Thursday)
- Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals (Saturday)
- Los Angeles Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills (Saturday)
- New York Jets vs. Washington Commanders (Sunday)
- Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions (Sunday)
- Houston Texans vs. Cleveland Browns (Sunday)
- Carolina Panthers vs. Green Bay Packers (Sunday)
- Tennessee Titans vs. Seattle Seahawks (Sunday)
- Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts (Sunday)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday)
- Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys (Sunday)
- Chicago Bears vs. Arizona Cardinals (Sunday)
- Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots (Sunday)
- Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders (Monday)
- Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants (Monday)
- San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens (Monday)

ESPN Bet: NFL Specials Props for Week 16
For first-time bettors who may not be aware, ESPN Bet has plenty of unique betting options. One of these options is the Specials Props.
These usually combine multiple props into a single bet, essentially mimicking a parlay within a single bet.
However, users can parlay these Specials Props as well—allowing for maximum payouts on opportunities that many online NFL bettors love.
Let’s get started.
Tee Higgins: Over 69.5 Receiving Yards & a Touchdown (+350)
Ja’Marr Chase will miss Week 16, thrusting Tee Higgins into the WR1 slot for the Cincinnati Bengals. Even with Jake Browning at quarterback, there’s a lot to like in this prop.
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense plays more man coverage than zone. And while Tee Higgins’ win rate against man is worse than it is against zone this season, his target share is actually higher (24.8% vs 17.6%). With Chase already declared out for Week 16, those opportunities should only increase.
Higgins has played four games without Chase, all occurring in 2022. During those games, Higgins has averaged 9 targets, 6.5 catches, 92.8 yards while scoring in two contests.
His best game during that stretch came against none other than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Higgins finished with 9 catches on 13 targets with 148 yards.
Pittsburgh was able to keep him out of the endzone, but I’m expecting Week 16 to be a different story. If the Bengals want to win, the 24-year-old will need to be a focal point of the offense.
Diontae Johnson Over 69.5 Receiving Yards & a Touchdown (+900)
We’ve already touched on why Chase’s absence and the Steelers’ defense provide an opportunity for Higgins to excel in Week 16, but Diontae Johnson also has a chance to hit paydirt in this AFC North showdown.
Originally, I was a little hesitant about taking this prop due to Mason Rudolph starting under center. Instead, I was targeting the TD prop for both Diontae and Higigns here (+950).
However, like the Steelers’ defense, the Bengals’ defense made me come around to taking this prop.
The Bengals’ defense is good at forcing low completion percentages from opponents but is incredibly susceptible to the big play. The team has given up over 40 completions of 20+ yards this season.
That works out perfectly for Diontae Johnson, who is top-36 among wide receivers in air yards (35th), air yard share (11th), deep targets (33rd), aDOT (21st), and YPRR (25th).
With Johnson the only reliable receiver on the team (and the only one Mason Rudolph is familiar with), I’m expecting Johnson to be heavily involved in the passing attack on Saturday.
By default, taking tailing two Specials Props also allows bettors to stack the Higgins & Johnson TD prop (+950), resulting in +47150 odds if all three Specials are parlayed.
Even if you decide against these Specials and target other props in the Bengals-Steelers game, using the ESPN Bet Promo Code is the best deal on the market for NFL bettors. And while doing so, don’t forget to use promo code JETSX to receive the full $250 bonus.
