This will be the Jets’ first trip to London since 2021, when they lost 27-20 to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5. It is their first matchup against the Vikings since Week 13 of 2022, when the Jets made a furious comeback attempt but came up just short in a 27-22 loss.
As the depth charts currently stand, quarterbacks Sam Darnold and Aaron Rodgers are poised for a long-awaited rematch after they went shot-for-shot in a 2018 shootout that was ultimately claimed by Green Bay in overtime, 44-38. Darnold is expected to compete with first-round pick J.J. McCarthy for the Vikings’ starting quarterback job.
