Gardner clarified that he has “never voted before and am unfamiliar with politics,” but that he does “think it’s odd to judge people based on who they vote for.”
In all honesty, I never voted before and am unfamiliar with politics, but I do think it's odd to judge people based on who they vote for. Maybe it's not odd and I just don't understand because I'm not familiar with it. Somebody fill me in

The 23-year-old shutdown corner has remained omnipresent in the news cycle throughout the dog days of the 2024 offseason. Gardner frequently streams on Twitch, recently announced his own video game tournament, has kept fans updated with his newfound golf obsession, and is now throwing his hat into the political ring.
Gardner generates plenty of headlines off the field, but he is just as good at generating headlines on the field for his elite play. He led the NFL in passes defended as a rookie with 20, causing opposing quarterbacks to largely avoid throwing at him in his second year. Through 33 career games, Gardner has allowed just two touchdown passes into his coverage.
It won’t be long until Gardner can return to generating those on-field headlines. Jets rookies will report to training camp in Florham Park, New Jersey this Thursday, July 18. The entire team will report the following Tuesday, July 23.
