“Big-time athletes and personalities, including Olympian Michael Phelps, New York Jets cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner, and CNBC anchor Joe Kernen, will tap into the know-how of one of the best golfers on the planet to help their golf games in the fifth season of the popular GolfPass series, Ask Rory, premiering today on Tuesday, Sept. 3,” said the press release.
Additionally, the press release provided a synopsis of the show and its role in the golfing space.
“True to its mission to help golfers play more and better golf, GolfPass invites golfers of all skill levels to send in their questions on video for a chance to be featured on Ask Rory, where McIlroy breaks down each challenge with a customized solution. McIlroy returns for season five, which offers a twist – tackling questions from well-known personalities in sports and entertainment, including some of golf’s biggest social media influencers. He will offer his insights, strategies, and tips from tee to green to help them improve their skills and course management.”
Gardner, who is already firmly established in the football space, is continuing to broaden his reach. With his first forays into golf, he made waves on social media, and that momentum has only continued.
If he continues his upper-level play on the football field and shows more improvement on the golf course, Gardner could firmly establish himself as a prominent figure in two different sports.
