As the New York Jets narrow down their options with the No. 7 overall pick, they are focused on three particular prospects, according to one reporter.

Per ESPN’s Rich Cimini, based on “conversations” with league sources, the Jets have trimmed down their options with the No. 7 overall pick to three players: Missouri right tackle Armand Membou, Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, and LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell.

“With 11 days to go before the draft, the top candidates for the Jets’ pick at No. 7 are tackles Will Campbell (LSU) and Armand Membou (Missouri) and tight end Tyler Warren (Penn State),” wrote Cimini. “This is based on conversations with league sources.”

Membou has gained momentum as a top draft riser after a standout NFL Combine performance. The 331-pounder clocked a 4.91-second 40-yard dash and posted a 9.89 Relative Athletic Score, showcasing rare explosiveness with a 34-inch vertical and 115-inch broad jump.

Since late January, the Missouri product has surged from No. 32 to No. 8 on NFL Mock Draft Database’s consensus board. Membou is now a popular projection to the Jets at No. 7 overall.

Membou anchored Missouri’s right tackle spot in 2024, allowing no sacks or hits across 411 pass-blocking snaps. He gave up just eight pressures and earned an 87.6 run-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus.

A highly-touted five-star recruit hailing from Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana, Campbell established himself as LSU’s starting left tackle during his true freshman season. Throughout three seasons as the Tigers’ starting left tackle, Campbell surrendered only four total sacks. The Louisana native was also solid against the run, posting a 69.7 run-blocking grade from PFF for the 2024 season.

2024 was easily Campbell’s most productive college season, earning consensus All-American honors and the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the top offensive lineman in the SEC.

Standing at 6-foot-6 and 319 pounds, Campbell posted a solid performance at the NFL scouting combine; however, he measured with relatively short arms (32⅝ inches). Ranked No. 6 overall on the consensus big board, Campbell could undoubtedly be in play for the Jets with the No. 7 overall pick if he is still on the board.

Warren is rising as the top tight end in this year’s draft, checking in at No. 9 overall on the consensus board.

The 22-year-old wrapped up a five-year career at Penn State with 159 catches for 1,839 yards and 19 touchdowns. He broke out in 2024 with 104 receptions, 1,233 yards, and eight touchdowns, ranking second among FBS tight ends in missed tackles forced (19) and third in contested catches (13).

Warren, who wears No. 44 in tribute to Jets great John Riggins, brings value as a blocker, though Jets X-Factor’s Joe Blewett emphasizes his technique still needs refinement at the pro level.

With less than 11 days to go before the draft, the Jets’ focus appears centered on Membou, Campbell, and Warren.
