Entering his second NFL season, New York Jets running back Braelon Allen has the mindset that every head coach wants in his players.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Allen expressed his love for the game while emphasizing that he is a pillar of versatility and is willing to play wherever he is needed.
“I’m the type of guy that’s going to do whatever is asked of me. If they wanted me to play linebacker, I would. If they wanted me to play fullback, I would,” said the Wisconsin product. “That’s something I’ve always done, I’ve played pretty much every position on the field at some point, and I just love football. So, special teams, you’ve got to block somebody or make a tackle, that’s the essence of football. That’s what I’m all about.”
