The New York Jets’ brass is prepared for an eventful pro day circuit.

With 32 days until the 2026 NFL draft, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey are gearing up for a big week of pro days and visits. Offensive coordinator Frank Reich is also expected to be involved.

Per reports from ESPN and The Athletic, the Jets’ top leaders will be in Miami on Monday to scout the Hurricanes’ pro day. Before then, they will have a meeting with Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck on Monday night.

On Tuesday, the Jets will be at Notre Dame in Indiana. On Wednesday, they will head east to Columbus, Ohio, for Ohio State’s pro day, where they will watch prospects like wide receiver Carnell Tate and safety Caleb Downs. Finally, the Jets will travel south to Texas Tech on Thursday, where potential No. 2 overall pick David Bailey will be scouted.

With four top-45 selections in the 2026 draft, the Jets have their work cut out for them over the next month-plus. Prospects from a plethora of schools will be in play for the Jets at some point within the first two rounds.

It makes sense for Glenn to be directly involved in the Jets’ scouting process. New York hitched their wagon to the 53-year-old, choosing not only to retain him after a 3-14 season, but to allow him to revamp nearly the entire coaching staff. Glenn will also be taking over defensive play-calling duties.

Given these factors, Glenn’s influence over the organization’s vision is significant. For that reason, it is wise for him to scout the team’s potential premium draft picks in person.

Many of the decisions made by New York on draft weekend will be traced back to the things they learn this week. A great face-to-face meeting can make a team fall in love with a prospectโ€”and they can fall out of love just as quickly with a poor meeting.
