The 2026 NFL draft is in the books, which means the New York Jets and every other team around the league have shifted their focus to the undrafted free agency market.
Within minutes of the draft’s conclusion, Gang Green signed two UDFAs. Read more on the team’s first two UDFAs below, but here’s where the tracker can be found:
- Caullin Lacy, WR, Louisville
- Garrison Grimes, LS, BYU
- Will Ferrin, K, BYU
- Chip Trayanum, RB, Toledo
- Kendrick Blackshire, LB, UTSA
- Mory Bamba, CB, BYU
- Xavier Hill, OL, Colorado
Caullin Lacy
Caullin Lacy kicked off his NCAA career at South Alabama, where he spent four seasons before transferring to Louisville for his final two collegiate seasons.
In 2025, he caught 60 passes for 635 yards and two touchdowns throughout 13 games. He also served as Louisville’s primary punt returner, where he returned two punts for touchdowns and averaged a whopping 18.2 yards per return.
Standing at 5-foot-9 and 183 pounds, Lacy, 24, will make his money in the pros as a kick returner with the potential to be a rotational slot receiver.
Garrison Grimes
Garrison Grimes transferred to BYU ahead of the 2025 season after spending three years at Michigan. He made his name known at the NFL Scouting Combine, where he posted a perfect 10.0 RAS (Relative Athletic Score).
Does this mean the Jets are moving on from Thomas Hennessy? He is currently the longest tenured member of the green and white, slated to enter his 10th season with the team. Gang Green would be able to move on while incurring a dead cap hit of just $175,000.
