Curtis Martin bled excellence in a way New York Jets fans had never seen prior (or since).

Neither the fastest nor strongest running back in the NFL, the Jets’ all-time leading rusher performed on a level Bill Parcells knew he would. Remember, it was the Big Tuna who gladly gave up considerable compensation to sign No. 28—prior to the 1998 season.

In the end, Martin’s 10,302 rushing yards are by far the most in franchise history. His patient running style, meshed with incredible consistency and professionalism, ultimately paved the road toward Canton, OH.
