New York Jets ‘Madden NFL 21’ ratings: Top 10 players potentially leaked

“Madden NFL 21” ratings for the top 10 players on each team—including the New York Jets—have been potentially leaked.

Will Madden NFL 21 be the only game in town this season? In a hopeful manner, the majority of NFL fans will say, “It better not be.” That would mean the 2020 NFL season doesn’t take and everybody will be forced to wait until 2021.

If Madden is the only game in town this year, however, New York Jets fans may already know the team’s top 10 rated players.

According to Madden School, a platform dedicated to EA Sports’ most legendary sports game (sorry, NHL fans), the top 10 rated players for each team are now public. (Madden School claims to have obtained the official ratings; the following list is unofficial.)

    1. Jamal Adams: 92
    2. Le’Veon Bell: 87
    3. C.J. Mosley: 85
    4. Avery Williamson: 83
    5. Pierre Desir: 81
    6. Marcus Maye: 81
    7. Brian Poole: 80
    8. Jamison Crowder: 80
    9. Frank Gore: 79
    10. Brian Winters: 79

Unsurprisingly, Jamal Adams tops the list as the team’s only 90-plus-rated player. Only two safeties are rated higher than Adams, Minnesota Vikings’ Harrison Smith at 95 and Kansas City Chiefs’ Tyrann Mathieu at 93. He’s tied with New England Patriots’ Devin McCourty with a 92 overall.

For the first-team All-Pro, to not be the highest-rated guy at his position will serve for another Jets’ fan complaint with EA Sports. Eddie Jackson and Derwin James were both given an 89 mark.

Le’Veon Bell sits in the second-hole on the Jets with an 87. Thanks to a 3.2 yards per carry mark in 2019, his rating dropped a fair amount from Madden 20. The returning C.J. Mosley comes with an 85 while is sidekick, the also returning Avery Williamson, is at 83.

Pierre Desir, Marcus Maye, Brian Poole, Jamison Crowder, Frank Gore and Brian Winters round out the top 10. To see Winters—a guy who may not even start—as the highest-rated offensive line is a major problem.

For gamers, the key with this Jets team will be potential. Sam Darnold is surely rated somewhere in the 70s, which is probably the case for first-round pick Mekhi Becton as well. Denzel Mims’ 70 rating was revealed late last week.

Anybody who plays with this squad will have to build up the potential in franchise mode or hope for a hot start in real life and play with the updated rosters. It will be tough-sledding with just one 90-rated player and seven 80-rated guys.
