New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell blasts Jamal Adams after the trade that sent him to the Seattle Seahawks for two first-round picks.
He did not mention anybody by name yet everybody knows the intended target’s identity.
Shortly after Joe Douglas and the New York Jets shipped Jamal Adams and a fourth-round pick in 2022 to the Seattle Seahawks for Bradley McDougald, a 2021 first-round selection, 2021 third-round selection and 2022 first-rounder, Le’Veon Bell let loose on Twitter.

“ppl do all the hootin & hollerin to get you brought in, just to leave…lol like people weird yooo, the internet got these dudes doin whatever for attention, even when they tell you sh*t they don’t believe themselves”
The news broke late Saturday afternoon, which put the majority of Jets fandom in a state of shock and awe. Shock that the 2017 sixth-overall pick who preached such a big team game is officially gone, and awe at the fact Douglas was able to fetch two first-rounders in return with the entire league knowing the situation.
Bell, 28, came to the Jets last offseason after a hard recruit from Adams—who often conducted his recruits publicly on social media. He struggled mightily in his first season, failing to break 1,000 yards rushing for the third time in his career accompanied by a career-low 3.2 yards per carry.
When responding to a comment about his emotional state, Bell did not hesitate to offer up his current condition:

What’s most interesting about this tweet is the idea Bell understands what Adams has gone through recently. Remember, it was Bell who felt the wrath of two teammates calling him out after he sat out the entire 2018 season. But to think the situations are identical is laughable.
Bell—a second-round pick—did not make nearly as much as Adams will over the life of his rookie deal, and he sat out after his first franchise-tag year in Pittsburgh. Adams is making a ton of noise after just his third year in the league while playing on a contract that will pay him over $30 million in five seasons.
Joe Douglas has seemingly doubled-down on his culture talk, ousting Jamal Adams to the Great Northwest. Le’Veon Bell and the rest of the New York Jets are scheduled to report to training camp on Tuesday.
