Sam Darnold, Mekhi Becton, Denzel Mims and more look ready to roll for the 2020 season at New York Jets media day.
Ladies and gentlemen, we officially have our first Mekhi Becton roar in the books.
Although New York Jets media day 2020 showcases a drastically different feel (courtesy of the ongoing pandemic), the multimedia surfacing from the recent shoots have most fans ready to run through a wall.
Firstly, of course, there’s the young rook who enjoys moving trucks:

There are already 4-3 defensive ends and 3-4 outside linebackers shaking in their boots thanks to that unique roar from the youngster.
Sam Darnold also made an appearance in his Gotham Greens. Oh yeah… let’s not forget about rookie Denzel Mims, either:

How could any kid not smile from ear to ear after getting his or her braces off? Quinnen Williams fits into that equation as well, obviously:

New wide receiver Breshad Perriman sported his No. 19, forcing some Jets fans to reminisce about the mercurial weapon who lived by the phrase, “Just give me the damn ball.”

Meanwhile, Marcus Maye must feel like Tupac. All eyes are now on him:

Other new Jets featured prominently include Bradley McDougald, Pierre Desir and George Fant:

Although the entire team is in New Jersey, and training camp has officially started, the team really can’t get going in full practice situations until COVID-19 testing takes care of itself.
For now, the photos and videos from media day (along with one Mekhi roar featuring concussions felt in California) will have to satisfy New York Jets fans.
