The New York Jets inactives for Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins down south include left tackle Mekhi Becton.
The New York Jets will be without their most valuable player when they kick-off against the division rival Miami Dolphins Sunday afternoon.
Mekhi Becton has officially been ruled as an inactive ahead of the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Becton, 21, is still dealing with a shoulder issue sustained during the week leading up to the Denver Broncos Thursday night affair a couple of weeks ago. He missed last week’s 30-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium.
Quarterbacks Sam Darnold and James Morgan are also among the six inactives. Head coach Adam Gase told the media Wednesday that Darnold would, indeed, miss his second-consecutive game due to his shoulder issue.
Quincy Wilson, Jordan Willis and Nathan Shepherd round out the inactives for Gotham Green.

The Dolphins inactives include offensive weapon Malcolm Perry, running backs Salvon Ahmed and Jordan Howard, linebacker Kyle Van Noy and defensive end Jason Strowbridge.
Old friend Ryan Fitzpatrick is slated to make the start against his former team—an organization in which his 31 passing touchdowns in 2015 still stand as the organization’s single-season record.
Thanks to the Darnold injury, veteran Joe Flacco starts his second-straight contest for Gase and the Jets. Last week, the former Super Bowl MVP didn’t make any terrible mistakes, but he also didn’t do anything overwhelmingly positive either.
The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins can be seen on CBS from Hard Rock Stadium at 4:05 p.m. ET.
