It is officially time for the New York Jets and their fanbase to move beyond the dream of Trevor Lawrence. However, that does not mean all hope is lost.

Well, that does it. After weeks upon weeks of crossing their fingers for Clemson prodigy Trevor Lawrence, Jets fans have no choice but to move on to Plan B.

With their win over the Cleveland Browns coupled with a Jacksonville Jaguars loss to the Chicago Bears, the New York Jets are now officially locked into the No. 2 spot in the 2021 NFL draft, while Jacksonville has earned the right to make Lawrence the first player to be taken off the board.

An offseason that once looked like it would be defined by a no-brainer decision now appears mired in uncertainty. There are countless ways the Jets can go from here, and there are no unquestionably right or wrong answers.

Despite the newfound hardships that the Jets will face without Lawrence as a part of their future, there remain plenty of reasons to believe that the franchise has a strong chance of turning things around sooner rather than later.

Ben Blessington and Michael Nania break down all of those reasons on the latest episode of Cool Your Jets.
