Ok, look, I don’t like Ashtyn Davis either and I don’t know how he keeps making the team. Nate Shepherd hasn’t exactly inspired confidence either but it’s not like the Jets’ cut Ed Reed or Reggie White to keep these guys. Not to mention this is probably not the final roster.
Today I say, “feel good Jets’ fans.” There were difficult cuts, some guys everybody wanted them to keep are not on this team, and players cut by the Jets were picked up by other teams. This is all good news. I for one feel better about this “day after cutdown” than any I can remember in many years. Clearly, the Jets’ culture has changed, the team has much more talent than it has in probably a decade, and I think it’s time to give some credit to Saleh for his impact and Joe for really taking charge of this organization’s football operations.
There is a lot of work to be done, wins still need to happen on the field and not off them but you can’t run before walk. This team was one of the worst in history when it comes to talent and culture when they arrived. Be happy, things are starting to payoff.
SMH …. I just don’t get it.
Ashtyn Davis can’t tackle a quadriplegic in a wheelchair…..like WTF…..and this is why for the past 28yrs I’ve been a fan of the same ole jets instead of the super bowl champion jets
