Best prop bets for New York Jets-Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets will look to get back into the win column this afternoon when they host the Buffalo Bills at Metlife Stadium. The Jets disappointingly lost in Week 8 to the New England Patriots while the Bills won at home against the Green Bay Packers for their fourth straight victory.

Let’s take a look at two of the best prop bets for Sunday’s game.

Zach Wilson passing yards: Over 206.5 (-114)

Even though Zach Wilson threw for 355 yards in Week 8, he played one of his worst games as a professional. He threw three costly interceptions and could not get much going until the fourth quarter.

With the Bills’ offense being one of the best in the league, Wilson will have to be able to throw the ball if the Jets have any shot at winning. I expect the Bills to be winning most of this game which will allow Wilson to have more opportunities to throw.

The Bills also have a banged-up secondary heading into Sunday. They are already without Micah Hyde who suffered a neck injury that will keep him sidelined for the remainder of the season. All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer reaggravated his elbow in their win last week against the Packers and will not play.

I expect Zach Wilson to rebound this week against a depleted secondary and have a good day passing the ball.

Michael Carter anytime touchdown (+155)

We were on this last week and unfortunately, it did not occur, but I like it again this week.

If the Jets want to win this game, they are going to have to score a decent amount of points. The Jets’ defense has been playing great all season but is now going up against their toughest opponent of the year.

Michael Carter had seven carries last week for only 26 yards and added four receptions for 35 yards. He had a relatively quiet game but the Jets only had 15 carries combined as a team. The Jets hope that changes this week as running the ball opens up their entire offense.

I expect Carter to get most of the carries near the goal line because of his familiarity with the offense. The Jets have nine rushing touchdowns on the season which is tied for the sixth-best in the NFL. Mike LaFleur likes to run the ball near the goal line and I think this sets up Michael Carter to find the end zone.
