NFL odds, picks, lines, spreads for Week 18
The final week of the NFL regular season is here. To some fanbases, it is probably great news that the season is ending, and to others, they wish the season would continue forever.
Week 18 could be difficult to analyze and bet on as some teams do not have anything to play for anymore and it could be difficult to navigate through. Some coaches are fighting for their careers and some players are fighting for their next contract, while some guys have completely checked out.
Let’s take a look at Jets X-Factor’s Week 18 challenging best bets.

NFL Best Bets
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
This is one of the few games this week where both teams have something at stake. Whoever wins this game will clinch the AFC South and host a playoff game on Wild Card Weekend.
The Tennessee Titans started the regular season 7-3 and had a commanding lead in the AFC South. After a few injuries and losing a few close games, they find themselves having to win on the road against a scorching-hot Jacksonville team.
Tennessee rested most of its starters last week as the game was virtually meaningless. Whether they won or lost, the Titans’ season would still come down to this matchup in Week 18.
I think getting some guys healthy will be massive for the Titans. Derrick Henry should return this week from a groin injury, as will Jeffrey Simmons.
In Joshua Dobbs’ first NFL start last week, he threw for 232 yards and one touchdown with an interception. He played pretty well against a top-10 defense in the Dallas Cowboys and will get Henry back in the mix this week. Dobbs will have a much more favorable matchup this week as the Jaguars are giving up the fifth most passing yards per game.
I think this is a great sell-high spot on the Jaguars as I like the Titans to keep this game close.
The play: Tennessee Titans +6
Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
The reigning Super Bowl champions have not had the season they expected after winning it all in February. They set a new NFL record for most losses in a season following a Super Bowl championship. To make matters worse, they will not be rewarded for having a bad season as they do not own a first-round pick until 2024.
I think this is a great spot for the Rams in Week 18. Ever since Baker Mayfield was claimed by L.A., their offense has gotten much better. In Mayfield’s four starts, the Rams are 2-2, including a 51-point outing against the Denver Broncos’ solid defense. Mayfield has thrown for 703 yards and four touchdown passes with only one interception.
To me, it seems like there is a lot of added value on the Rams because they do not have to play for anything. Mayfield has his NFL future on the line as he is playing for another contract and opportunity.
Lastly, what divisional opponent wouldn’t want to spoil their rivals’ playoff chances?
I expect to see a motivated Rams team who I think covers this number.
The play: Los Angeles Rams +6.5
