New York Jets fans have been waiting each day for an Aaron Rodgers announcement

When days feel like months and months like years…

It feels like this last week has taken forever for New York Jets fans. After endless Derek Carr-Aaron Rodgers limbo, Jets fans saw Carr fall off the market and then a holding pattern with Rodgers ensue.

There was the midnight drop of a discussion between team and player followed by a midday cross-country jet ride. Snooping fans, Twitter wars, media pretending knowledge they did not have, and a whole lot of noise have followed.

Yesterday, with the signing of Allen Lazard and the report of a four-player wish list provided by Rodgers to the Jets, the deal seemed inevitable. But nothing yet.

Will it all end today?

Rodgers has a weekly Tuesday spot on the Pat McAfee Show during the season, but Rodgers did not appear on Tuesday’s show.

However, in the middle of the day, McAfee announced Rodgers would make an appearance on Wednesday.

That fuels the speculation: will today be the day that this charade ends?

According to Trey Wingo, who’s been on top of all of this, the deal is done. Others say to cool your Jets, that there are still financial squabbles going on.

What do you think, Jets fans? Will it finally happen?
