Aaron Rodgers started to look like himself again in the second half of 2022
Aaron Rodgers‘ 2022 season was heavily scrutinized. Rodgers posted some of the worst statistics of his career as the Packers went 8-9 and missed the playoffs.
In our previous Aaron Rodgers film breakdown, we discussed some of the issues that caused Rodgers to stumble out of the gates in 2022. Today, we turn the page to the second half of the season, when Rodgers began to rediscover his groove.

The Packers finished the season with a 5-3 record after going 3-6 in their first nine games. They also averaged 27.0 points per game over those final eight games, a major improvement over their 17.1 points per game through nine contests.
Rodgers still didn’t look quite like his MVP self in the second half, as some of the same issues from the first half persisted in the second half. However, as Rodgers started to build trust in his young and revamped supporting cast, the Green Bay offense finally started to click – giving hints to the New York Jets on how they can maximize Rodgers in 2023.
