On their podcast “New Heights”, the Kelce brothers praised New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh and the MetLife Stadium environment

The New York Jets continue to receive praise from prominent players in the NFL.

On their podcast “New Heights“, Jason and Travis Kelce spoke about the Jets’ defense and gave their thoughts on their success.

“Credit to the Jets, especially their defense, they played unbelievably,” said Jason Kelce. “We knew going in that they were a good defense, even though they were missing their two corners… It’s just a team that played well against everybody they’ve played against.”

Jason also mentioned that the Jets are “not a team you can make mistakes against and expect to win the game.”

Travis added that he thinks the Jets are a well-coached team and that Robert Saleh “has it figured out.” He praised the second-half defensive adjustments made by Saleh and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, mentioning how the Jets have allowed just one touchdown in the second half this season.

Later in the episode, the brothers spoke about the environment of MetLife Stadium. Travis said the stadium was “rocking” during the Chiefs’ matchup with the Jets and talked about the environment for the Eagles game.

“The longer that game went and didn’t get out of hand… man, that place got rocking. Hats off to the Jets because that’s huge.”

The Kelce brothers are the latest figures in the NFL world to show praise to the Jets. From J.J. Watt praising Bryce Huff to Pat McAfee raving about the team on his show, the team is gaining positive traction in the sports media landscape. It is a far cry from how the team was talked about in the Adam Gase era and the years prior.

With an easier schedule after the bye week, the Kelce Brothers, along with Watt and McAfee, will not be the last people praising the Jets and their fanbase if they keep up their prior performance.
