Arizona Cardinals @ Houston Texans

The Arizona Cardinals are one of the worst teams in the NFL but got a big boost last week when they activated Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray, who missed the end of last season and the beginning of the 2023 season after tearing his ACL.

Murray had a nice debut in their win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday by completing 60% of his passes for 249 yards. Murray added another 33 yards and a touchdown on the ground. I expect Murray to be even more comfortable this week and have another productive game.

I think this is a great matchup for the Cardinals. The Texans have given up 64 points over their last two games and have a defense that has been susceptible to the big play. Houston is allowing 6.6 net yards per attempt through the air this season which is the seventh-worst in the NFL.

This game has the makings of being a flat spot for the Texans as they are looking ahead to their Week 12 matchup against division-leading Jacksonville Jaguars. The Texans are looking to stay one game behind Jacksonville.

This looks like a great sell-high spot on the Houston Texans as home favorites. I like the Cardinals to keep this one close and maybe even win outright.

The play: Arizona Cardinals +5.5

Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams

After missing last week’s game, Matthew Stafford is trending toward starting in Week 11 for the Rams after recovering from a thumb injury. That is big news for Los Angeles as they have lost three straight and need a win to keep their season alive.

I think the Seahawks are not as good as their record shows. Their only win over a quality team came in a Week 2 matchup with the Lions. Even though the Lions are 7-2, teams are still figuring out their playstyle in Week 2, so that win does not move the needle for me that much.

Sean McVay has traditionally performed well against the Seahawks. He is 10-4 against the spread versus Seattle as head coach of the Rams. With their backs against the wall in a wide-open conference, I think the Rams will be ready to play.

The play: Los Angeles Rams +2
