The New York Jets’ newly formed WR duo is being included in top-10 lists
According to a new list, the New York Jets have one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL.
Pro Football Network, listing their top ten duos at the position, had New York’s Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams at number nine. This slotted in ahead of Seattle’s duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett while falling behind Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

It is good to see the duo, and not just Wilson, get the recognition they deserve. Wilson has been lighting it up in OTAs, getting open against any type of coverage and reeling in anything that comes his way. As many have said, he is poised for a big breakout season in 2024.
However, Williams is the player who will dictate if the duo reaches the heights that have been laid out in front of them. While he is a player who deals with his fair share of injuries, the former Charger is a lethal offensive weapon on contested catches. Whether in the red zone or multiple yards down the field, Williams provides an asset the Jets have constantly been looking for.
Additionally, Williams is a great deep threat. Whether looking at his production or his athletic profile, Williams is the ideal type of player tp open up New York’s offense.
Working off each other, the duo of Wilson and Williams could cause massive issues for opponents in 2024. Wilson can be lethal underneath and in the intermediate areas, while Williams can attack the deep areas and dominate on contested catches.
Now, the two receivers have to stay healthy for the majority of the season. If they can pull off that feat, Wilson and Williams have a chance to rise even higher on this list next season.
