The regular season has not even started yet, but Breece Hall already has a nickname for himself and a fellow running back.
During his media availability, the star running back said he and Braelon Allen call each other the “Killer Bs” at practice. Hall also spoke about seeing the development of Allen, Isaiah Davis, and the other running backs during camp.

“It’s just cool to see them grow and keep getting comfortable with the offense,” Hall remarked. “And like I said, they’re just getting better every day. It’s been good to see how competitive we all are, but we’re all just going to try to be the best version of ourselves.”
It may have been tongue-in-cheek, but the Hall-Allen nickname has some serious potential to stick.
Hall has the all-around versatility needed to be an upper-echelon running back and has shown it with his play on the field. He has great vision, quickness, and some of the best breakaway speed in football. Hall also has great route-running ability and soft hands.
Allen has shown the same versatility in the passing game as Hall up to this point in camp. However, his running style is different, as he opts to barrel through defenders rather than finesse his way around them. Allen moves like a locomotive downhill and uses this style to take on contact and create big plays. When he shows strong vision, he often rips off big plays.
In recent years, the Jets have not had the luxury of more than one productive running back on their roster. It’s been Hall and a bunch of disappointments.
That should no longer be an issue with Allen and Davis in the fold. The Killer Bs will be in full force for the Jets, and just like the Wu-Tang Clan, Allen and Hall will be saying opposing defenses are “no warriors” compared to them.
