“I mean, it is what it is; at the end of the day, I just want to win. If you don’t run for 100 yards, people will think you suck,” Hall said. “I just try to be the same guy every day and do my job.”

Hall also added that, in order to find success, the team must “have better attention to detail and make our plays work” in the running game.

During his media availability, wide receiver Garrett Wilson addressed his connection with Aaron Rodgers and whether its improvement can help the team win games.

“We have to keep fighting and keep going about our practice week the right way. We need to find a way to win. At the end of the day, it ain’t about me and him getting on the same page. It doesn’t matter. We gotta win games,” said Wilson.

“Do I think it can help us win? Yes. Do I think me being involved can help us win? Yes. But the ultimate goal is winning; whatever it takes to get there, that’s what the hell we have to do.”

Cornerback Sauce Gardner, when asked about the secondary’s play, said he thought they did “pretty good.”

“We got quite a few calls, quite a few pass interferences, never called on us. It’s our job to play, and the referees make calls. Ain’t nobody perfect. I thought we did pretty well.”

Gardner added that he thought the receiver “pushed off of him” on one of the pass interferences and did not think he committed illegal contact on the occasion he was called for it.

The Jets need Gardner, Wilson, and Hall to be elite going forward. Without the trio playing at a high level, the Jets may be dead in the water.
