The New York Jets lost a narrow one to the Miami Dolphins in Week 14 — and Tyreek Hill won’t let them forget it.
Hill changed his profile picture on X to show a lone demoralized Jets fan in a Darrelle Revis jersey sitting among cheering Dolphins fans.

Hill has every right to be smug where the Jets are concerned. He just posted 10 catches on 14 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown, plus the game-tying two-point conversion. In his lone game against the Jets in 2023, he had 9 catches for 102 yards and a score. The Dolphins are 4-1 against the Jets since Hill came to Miami in 2022.
Still, the receiver is sticking the knife in somewhat deeper after choosing Miami over the Jets. After the Chiefs allowed Hill to seek a trade, the two teams competed for the opportunity to acquire him. Although Joe Douglas gave an equivalent trade offer, Hill chose Miami because of the lack of state income tax and the fact that he already had a home there.
The Dolphins gave up 2022 first and second-round picks and 2023 fourth and sixth-round picks in the deal. Douglas offered two early 2022 second-round picks and an early third-round pick.
Hill has thrived in Miami, posting back-to-back 1,700+ yard seasons in 2022-23. It’s been slower this season, as he’s on pace for just 1,006 receiving yards, which would be his lowest total in a full season since his rookie year. The Jets have received contributions from Jermaine Johnson and Breece Hall, but nowhere near Hill’s All-Pro play.
As long as the Jets continue to lose, they will be fodder for trolling from their rivals. Even if Miami’s fortunes have not been great this season, they’re still better than the Jets’, and Hill will keep reminding the Jets of it.
