Jets over-under win total announced, 3rd-lowest in NFL

Bettors around the league aren't expecting much from Aaron Glenn's first season with the New York Jets, even with a quarterback change.

After a complete organizational overhaul and a key quarterback change, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that bettors around the country aren’t high on the New York Jets in 2025.

New York has the third-lowest over-under win total amount going into the 2025 season behind teams like the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.

How low is their win total? We have that answer for you here.

Jets Over-Under Win Total

New York is walking into the 2025 season with an over-under win total of just 5.5, according to ESPN Bet. A big part of the low expectations comes from the fact that new head coach Aaron Glenn is in the role for the first time.

The Jets are also going into the new season with Justin Fields as the starting quarterback, following a two-year run with four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers only won five games with the Jets last season, so ESPN is expecting much of the same, despite a new coaching staff and a front office that has pushed the roster to get younger in key roles.

Of note, the Jets’ over-under win total from last season was 9.5.

Vegas and ESPN might not be expecting much from the Jets this season, but that doesn’t mean the organization can’t throw some surprises out as well. Last season, the Washington Commanders were projected to win just 6.5 after a three-win season the year prior.

They ended with 12 wins and a spot in the Conference Title Game.

Can the Jets beat out the 5.5 wins of low expectations? That remains to be seen.

Crazier things have happened, though.
