The New York Jets began a new era when they first introduced Aaron Glenn as the 22nd head coach in franchise history this offseason.

Next Monday will be the first step for Gang Green to truly begin that era on the field…sort of.

New York announced the entire offseason program schedule over the next few months. They get to start a few weeks early as part of the league’s collective bargaining agreement, which allows first-year head coaches extra time with their new team.

The full schedule can be found below.

Jets Offseason Workout Schedule

  • First Day: April 7th
  • Voluntary Minicamp: April 21st-23rd
  • OTA Offseason Workouts: May 20th-22nd, 28th-30th, June 2nd-5th
  • Mandatory Minicamp: June 10th-12th

It’s important to remember that all teams will open programs with two weeks of meetings and conditioning work before they can advance to on-field practices. That includes up to 10 organized team activities and a mandatory minicamp.

The Jets are among the organizations allowed to have a voluntary minicamp session due to Glenn being a first-time head coach. They are joined by the Patriots, Jaguars, Saints, Bears, Raiders, and Cowboys.

That also means the organization will get its first look at the changing culture that Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey are already beginning to set at this time.

New York will have plenty of new faces during offseason workouts, including a new quarterback in Justin Fields and new leaders with the departures of Aaron Rodgers and C.J. Mosley.

A new era begins in Florham Park on Monday.
