The New York Jets won a game, which means the fan base is split into two reactions.

Some fans are just happy to see their favorite team come out on top. They’re also excited about what the victory could mean for the future of a young roster.

Other fans, though, are solely focused on landing a top quarterback in the 2026 NFL draft, which means every Jets victory foils their long-term vision for the franchise.

Regardless of where you stand in the debate, one thing is for certain: The reps happening on the field right now will be crucial in the Jets’ evaluation of the young players who could be a part of the solution moving forward.

Whether those players perform well or poorly, the Jets will use the information gained in these late-season games to inform their decisions in the 2026 offseason. That’s why it’s so important to dive into the film and gain a full understanding of what goes down on the field each week for the boys in green.

In their 27-24 win over the Atlanta Falcons, plenty of potential building blocks enjoyed standout performances, from wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to edge rusher Will McDonald.

Like Aaron Glenn said this week, though, โ€œThereโ€™s some bad stuff that comes out of wins, also. So, I want to make sure that we donโ€™t overlook those things.”

We agree with that line of thinking on Blewett’s Blitz. While the Jets won the game, that doesn’t mean there aren’t issues to address. A few parts of the Jets’ roster, including some potential young building blocks, struggled against Atlanta.

On the latest episode of Blewett’s Blitz, we’re here to reveal all of the critical takeaways from the Jets-Falcons All-22 film. The top standouts, the biggest dudsโ€”it’s all there on tape.
